SQF Course Details

Text Box: Overview The SQF 1000 Code was developed for primary produce companies who wish to implement a comprehensive food safety management system that is GFSI-approved at Level 2 and Level 3 Certification. This course is designed for students who wish to gain in-depth understanding of how certification bodies work and how they relate to SQF in the process towards certification. The instructor will focus on the Core Systems and Level 1000 Code and the interpretation of those clauses in order to demonstrate compliance. You will become familiar with the scope and structure of the SQF 1000 Code, how audit reports are written and how to deal with any non-conformities discovered during the audit. This course is a combination of tutor-led instruction and interactive workshops to apply the knowledge learned during the 2-day course. Upon completion, you will be prepared with the knowledge and tools necessary to complete the SQF online exam for the Core Systems and Level 1000 Implementer’s units to obtain an SQF-issued Certificate of Attainment. Who should attend SQF Practitioners QA, Food Safety and other Technical Managers Technical Production support staff Other facility managers and supervisors responsible for the implementation of the Standard Consultants Prerequisites Students should also be competent in the principles of HACCP and have good technical knowledge of the industry.
